East meets West in Dubai as the event is set to bring the best of emerging tech and innovation to unite innovators, investors and regulators

The AIBC Summit — the melting pot for global influencers in technology, civil society, democracy promotion and innovation — has announced the launch of AIBC UAE, its two-day inaugural summit on the 25th and 26th of May 2021 in Dubai.

The event will be organised at the UAE’s financial and business hub; the luxurious InterContinental Festival Arena Dubai. AIBC UAE will unite investors, regulators and innovators from diverse backgrounds in a super-show that is sure to bring the best of emerging tech and innovation to this new destination.

“We always envisioned AIBC as a meeting point of peoples from all over the world. Dubai gives us the opportunity to encourage the giants from the West and the East to sit, break bread, and sign deals,” Eman Pulis, the Founder of AIBC said

He added that the progressive emirate was a natural choice due to its central geographical location and its connections to all major tech and gaming hubs in the industry. Pulis also pointed out that AIBC UAE allowed innovators and investors to explore new opportunities and move beyond local ambitions by bringing the East and the West to their natural meeting point.

AIBC UAE will be one of the first in-person events of this scale to be organised since the pandemic. Dubai has been performing exceptionally well on the COVID front with strict border control and effective vaccination rollouts underway to protect local population from the fear of infection. Despite this, regulations involving mask-wearing and temperature taking will be followed to add another layer of health and safety for all those in attendance.

The event “will provide a great boost to our developing UAE crypto and blockchain community. Dubai has proven itself repeatedly as the best place to live and do business,” said Irina Heaver, a Dubai based Fintech and Crypto lawyer

The Summit will not only enable delegates to experience local culture and explore in depth the learnings from the various industries on show, but it will also act as a blossoming incubator of innovation and emerging technology supported by the business environment created by the local government.

“The UAE is open for business. Dubai Blockchain Center continues to play a pivotal role in connecting the blockchain eco-system both locally and on a global stage. Through numerous events, we aim to ensure that our partners prosper and thrive, through getting people back to being engaged in fruitful events and conferences,” Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, Managing Partner at Accelliance and CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center said.
