The online crypto wallet’s new gift card feature allows users to convert cryptocurrencies to goods with a couple of clicks

Multi-currency online crypto wallet Freewallet is gradually expanding its range of features and services to meet the needs of crypto users. The latest developments to be announced are the platform’s integration with Moonpay and the launch of a new gift card feature.

The Moonpay partnership has greatly improved the process of buying crypto with fiat as Moonpay allows customers to use a credit card to purchase crypto at beneficial rates. Users can now pay with 42 different fiat currencies when buying BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, BCH, XLM, USDC, EOS, TRX, VET, DAI NEO, ZIL, ZRX, TUSD, MANA, PAX, CHZ, CVC, EOSDT and USDT20.

In addition to the Moonpay integration, Freewallet has introduced the full rollout of its new gift card feature after a trial run late last year. Cards can be purchased for both physical and online stores, easily converting any cryptocurrency into goods with a couple of clicks.

The gift cards cover a diverse range of products, from department stores to fashion to entertainment. Freewallet has partnered with more than 800 global brands, including Amazon, eBay, iTunes, Burger King, Nike, Starbucks, The Body Shop, Ticketmaster, Global Hotel Card, Topshop and Uber.

The search tool enables Freewallet users to sort gift cards by popularity or geography, as well as alphabetically, and the value of the cards ranges from $1 to $1,000. Gift cards are currently issued by the stores of 38 different countries and Freewallet plans to expand the range of cards available in the future.

Head of PR at Freewallet, Solomon Brown, said of the new offerings: “We are really pleased that we can introduce more useful features for our users. We have been quite lucky in that we have been able to gather a large community around our platform and listen to the feedback they provide us with. It is amazing to see both the strides that we have taken as a service and the progress being made in the industry as a whole. We hope that our users will enjoy the new gift card feature as well as the retooled exchange.
