To further energize the development of the fastest-growing track blockchain gaming in the United States, the Egretia North American Community (ENAC) and Egretia Foundation are excited to initiate the 2019 Egretia Global DApp Contest (https://www.egretiana.org) . On October 17, 2019, the first Contest meetup was successfully held at MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston, which attracted numerous passionate and expectant developers and students.

Toby Ragaini, Ex Producer of Zynga, VP of MMO Games at Big Fish Games,  gave a brief introduction about Crypto & Games (How Blockchain Tech is Relevant to the Game Industry) .He mentioned that Blockchain offers consumers advantages in ownership, ease of transacting, transparency and portability.

During the meetup, ENAC introduced the background, schedule, setting, and other information about the 2019 Egretia Global DApp Contest. The ENAC organizer also announced that “the winning teams will receive a total of $300K award and long-term collaborations, including support for project development, incubation, and potential investment.” The 2019 Egretia Global DApp Contest has launched since October 1, 2019. All participants need to submit their business plans or DApps by midnight of November 15, 2019 EST. As the world’s first HTML5 blockchain game, Egretia encourages developers to combine this programming language with their promising projects.

Filled with enthusiasm, William, Core Developer of Block Kingdom Studio, gave a tutorial speech “In Game Crypto Payment with EGT (ERC-20 Token)” during the meetup. He introduced the audience on how to pick a game, find payment point, design the bridge, implement payment manager & WebGL template, and test on testnet.

Egretia integrates its world’s first complete HTML5 workflow which was developed for 4 years into the blockchain interface layer and creates a larger network for all HTML5 games. This HTML5 workflow has helped Egretia successfully reach 200,000+ developers worldwide. Additionally, the HTML5 content powered by the workflow has covered 1 billion mobile devices. The 2019 Egretia Global DApp Contest is ready to witness significant progress in the industry of blockchain gaming created by the common efforts of game developers and blockchain practitioners.
