The 2018 Web Summit event will witness the distribution of free digital assets from a number of blockchain companies. The yearly event brings together an A-list cast of panelists, including the CEO of Medium Ev Williams, Pinterest co-founder Ben Silbermann and a host of executives from the tech sector, investors, startups and media.

Blockchain, the world’s leading crypto wallet provider, leads the pack. In partnership with the Stellar Development Foundation (the issuers of Stellar lumens), the crypto wallet provider will be giving away $125 million worth of Stellar lumens to Summit attendees who have a Blockchain wallet. The Stellar blockchain has gained a massive reputation for its speed and low-cost transactions.

Digital currency platform BTC.com and social trading platform eToro will also be driving cryptocurrency adoption at the event. BTC.com will be giving away pre-loaded cards filled with $2 worth of Bitcoin Cash for users who visit the stand. From how bitcoin works to getting your first crypto wallets; attendees will get answers to their questions on everything crypto from the firm’s stand.

Borrowing a page out of BTC.com’s playbook, Bitstamp will also be educating first-time traders on how to trade cryptocurrencies. The Luxembourg based cryptocurrency exchange has launched ‘Cryptomyths,’ a quiz designed to make the world of cryptocurrencies clearer so first time traders can have in-depth knowledge on what to trade. Summit attendees who partake in Cryptomyths will earn a $10 trading process that will be activated when they make their first trade on the Bitstamp platform.

Social trading platform eToro, who recently announced the launch of their bespoke crypto wallet, will be handing out 0.1 ether to the first 100,000 users who download the new mobile wallet. eToro’s crypto wallet can be used to purchase cryptocurrencies directly from the platform and at the moment, it can be used to store Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.
