World’s Largest Fintech Event Comes to Copenhagen

Money20/20, the world’s largest global event focused on payments and financial services innovation, is coming to Denmark from June 26 to 28, 2017 to explore the future of money and finance.

This June, Copenhagen will once again take center stage as the companies and individuals that are transforming the way consumers and businesses manage, spend and borrow money, come together at scale.

The Money20/20 Europe 2017 event will “monopolize the attention of the entire global financial services ecosystem, with a focus on what the future of money holds for the year ahead,” said Tracey Davies, managing director of Money20/20.

This year again, Money20/20 Europe promises to be the biggest scale, best audience and most engaging industry event in Europe. Over 400 speakers will participate in some 120 sessions covering the hottest trends in fintech including Big Data, artificial intelligence, B2B payments and finance, financial inclusion, blockchain technology, alternative lending, and more.

Confirmed speakers include representatives from leading banks and global firms from various industries such as MasterCard, Visa, Overstock.com, Western Union, Samsung, and Amazon. Some of the world’s hottest fintech startups like TransferWise, Tandem, Atom Bank, Ant Financial, Klarna and Digital Asset, will be represented as well.

“Our goal with this agenda was to identify the leaders and innovators shaping the future of money. In addition to content focused purely on developments in payments and banking, our coverage will include cutting-edge and real world applications of the blockchain, the sharing economy, virtual reality and the Internet of Things,” said Pat Patel, the content director of Money20/20 Europe.

“The premise behind this is to create a dialogue across different industry verticals with the aim of continually pushing forward the boundaries encompassing the financial services and payments sector.”

In 2016, Money20/20 welcomed 3,725 attendees, including 500 CEOs, from 1,500 companies and 70 countries for one of the year’s largest fintech events. The show featured 422 speakers, over 200 sponsors and more than 100 media partners.

Money20/20 Europe in Copenhagen will be followed by the inaugural Money20/20 Asia to be held in Singapore in March 2018.

Founded in the US in 2011, Money20/20 is recognized as the largest fintech event series in the world.
