Nationwide Bitcoin ATM network Coinsource have expanded their coverage, announcing the launch of South Las Vegas and Henderson’s first 2-way Bitcoin ATMs, allowing users to buy and sell bitcoin, with rates starting at 7% buy and 5% sell.

“Coinsource is excited to bring the first bitcoin ATM machine to the South Las Vegas and Henderson communities,We’re committed to the Las Vegas area and to serving our customers with distinction. Coinsource continues to provide the highest level support to our customers and always-low fees. All of our machines adhere to cutting-edge security standards and provide convenient, instantaneous transfers compatible with any bitcoin mobile wallet.”

Bitcoin ATMs were first launched in 2013 and there is now believed to be over 400 globally, while being originally released to boost adoption, original models were criticised for not being user friendly enough, something which Clark explained has been addressed with the latest generation of Genesis coin machinesSouth Vegas Bitcoin ATM

“Coinsource’s preferred hardware manufacturer, Genesis Coin, has played a major role in making the bitcoin ATM user experience easier and more efficient. The Genesis solution provides a seamless process by combining cutting edge hardware with thoughtful, reactive software that allows for an extremely user-friendly experience at the BTM. Unlike the first generation of Bitcoin ATM’s, Genesis hardware and software have successfully eliminated the biometric elements of the KYC process that added an tedious step to the process for the user, while simultaneously providing the operator with new and improved ways to implement KYC and AML policies and procedures that more than satisfy regulatory requirements. “

The newest addition to the Coinsource network can be found in South Las Vegas at the Country Club Auto Spa at 9260 S Eastern Avenue off the Eastern Avenue exit (Exit 7) of the Las Vegas Beltway (Interstate 215)
