Singulariteam, CoinTree Capital, and BlockchainIL have teamed up to open Alignment, a blockchain hub in Israel. The hub aims to be a “one-stop shop” for blockchain early stage projects and existing companies. It will consult, develop and fund teams and ventures “from inception through initial coin offering (ICO) and beyond.”
Services provided by Alignment include token sale consulting from token sale design and strategy, to code audits and pre-sale activities; full turnkey ICO solutions from strategy and marketing to business development; and venture capital with incubation and funding of new and existing blockchain projects.
The Alignment partners said they are committed to “invest, without exception, in every Israeli blockchain company in 2017.”
Moshe Hogeg, the founder and chairman of Singulariteam, said:

Tel Aviv venture capital firm Singulariteam, formerly Genesis Angel, focuses on the development of technology-based companies by providing capital and additional supporting services. It invests in advanced technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality, among others.
Singulariteam is managing over US$150 million in three funds and was amongst Israel’s most active VC funds in 2016.
Israel, which already is a hub for startups and hi-tech innovation, has seen its blockchain ecosystem thrive in recent years, and according to Deloitte, Israel, and in particular Tel Aviv, has the potential to become a leader in the field.
Numerous Israeli entrepreneurs and startups are currently developing a wide range of blockchain applications. Colu, for instance, develops and runs local cryptocurrency-based systems in several places around the world since last year. It started in Tel Aviv and Haifa and expanded to London and Liverpool. Colu is also a partner of Deloitte to bring blockchain to companies across industries.

GetGems is a social messaging app, similar to Whatsapp or Telegram, but which allows users to use cryptocurrencies. Each profile is attached to a digital wallet that enables users to send and receive digital currency.
